Which is better for work or study: the evening or morning?

Most of us avoid doing it during the day, whether it's a subject assignment, a topic for self-study, or even some paperwork from the office for home. Most of the time, we either start it right when we wake up or an hour after we go to bed. So there is science to the idea that you shouldn't do it throughout the day. We feel that we have enough time because, in the back of our minds, we are aware that the day is lengthy. This causes us to put off the current task in hopes of finishing it later. On the other hand, we are conscious of the fact that those quiet, productive hours will soon come to an end while working late at night or early in the morning. Therefore, this slight mental strain and our determination to strike a balance between our work and a restful night's sleep make us productive. We now know why we either transform into an owl or a rooster.

However, a new query now arises: which is superior? Should we wake up an hour earlier than usual or work into the night to finish our task? Well, the solution to this isn't very obvious. It largely relies on what one's unique body demands. However, I'll be contrasting the two based on a few factors using both my own experiences and the opinions of some of the trustworthy people I know. But before we get there, let me be very clear that getting a full 6-hour sleep every night is essential for everyone, and that no work should ever be sacrificed in order to get that amount of sleep. We will now begin.

1. One of the fundamental prerequisites for great production is speed. It can only occur when the mind is alert and clear of any negative thoughts. When we work late at night, we already have a mental load from the previous day. To make matters worse, we used up a significant portion of our energy during the course of the day and are now using the remainder. Therefore, for the majority of us, productivity is at its highest in the morning hours when we haven't had much time to experience excess thought or exert much energy.

2. Many people, such as sketch artists, fine art students, or those employed in marketing, advertising, etc., depend on their ability to be creative. In contrast to the demands of speed, creativity necessitates a flow of thoughts, ideas, and occasionally even emotions. It goes without saying that our thinking won't permit this in the morning when we haven't had much experience. However, by the end of the day, we have a large collection of experiences that can foster creativity. Therefore, since one doesn't need speed in this situation, creative chores must be completed at night.

3. Maintaining focus is necessary for success. The absence of any distractions guarantees it. We need to look for times when we are awake but do not particularly want to check our phones or interact with others for this. During those times, we can concentrate our brains on the crucial activities. Although I believe that the early hours of the day are ideal for this, others may feel differently. Therefore, we must look for them in our regular activities and make our own decisions.

4. For some people, solitude is all they need. Not many of us are easily sidetracked by technology, but rather by people. Late night is a fantastic choice for those people who tend to start conversations with family members, friends, or roommates as soon as they see them. There is no one to chat to because the majority of our loved ones are asleep. Take a quick sip of coffee or eat an apple, then go on to the next activity.

5. I take into consideration the harmony with the natural world as a criteria. I really believe that maintaining our lives on schedule without interfering with the natural cycles we were created for and from leads to positive outcomes. As the sun rises, both Mother Nature and we, who are a part of it, feel an energy surge. An early morning fresh air inhalation makes the body and mind feel good. As a result, one develops a positive outlook, which is crucial for accomplishing tasks quickly. Every aspect of nature serves a purpose, and for me, the secret is to wake up every day knowing this while forgoing an hour of seductive sleep.

So, whether your job requires creativity from you or you prefer to work alone, late at night is the time for you. On the other hand, start waking up early, which is also my advice, if your assignment requires you to be quick and concentrated or if you need to work on an academic subject. I hope this is helpful.
